Experience keeps us efficient: Over the years, we have perfected the corporate shorelunch. With a little pre-preparation, we keep these massive feasts to around 90 minutes. Our Pro-Staff guides also shine at shorelunch, providing your group with scrumptious and artfully prepared freshwater delights, served buffet style in unparalleled settings. Our staff, who have been preparing these culinary specialties for years, are ready to accommodate any special needs anyone may have.... from lemon juice... to tartar sauce... to exotic recipes.

Tasty walleye recipes: Our guides also provide you with the unmatched, classic Aikens recipes of Lemon-pepper Walleye, Cajun Pike, and baked Lake trout. No other lodge can prepare freshly caught walleye like we can. Some of the specialty recipes we have made for large groups in the past include: "Baked walleye with shallot wine sauce", "Thermadore walleye with cheese sauce", "Honey-glazed smoked lake trout", and a favorite... "Parmesan walleye". Trust us, or the guests who have tasted these marvels, nobody can do shorelunches like the guides and staff at Aikens Lake!

Great setting: In 1998, we created a great shorelunch site on a big beach. This allows for easy landing of the boats. We have brought over a bunch of picnic tables so that everybody has a seat. There is a separate cooking area as well as a separate serving area. Lunch is served buffet style. Everything is covered by huge tarps so that we are safe from the rain and we also have a shaded area if the sun is coming down hard. We even built a latrine in the woods for those who need that midday break. We have accommodated up to 50 people at one time at this shorelunch site.
