The annual Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge staff BBQ is an opportunity for our staff to reconnect and also to meet the new faces around the lodge for the season to come. As always, our gracious hosts Pit & Julie opened their home to well over twenty Aikens team members. The grill was hot and the office was busy as each staffer meets with the Turennes one-on-one to discuss their summer to come. Although the Habs lost in overtime, the evening's mood was none worse from the wear. A good old Aikens style party set the tone for what is sure to be an awesome 2011 season.

Trust us, they're just as excited to meet you as you are them. All of these young people were specially chosen for their strength of character, personality, and willingness to learn the ins and outs of the "Aikens Experience". It already appears that they get along quite well with our current team. With under a month till their arrival, we're sure they're chomping at the bit. Stay tuned for their successes!
Also, we'd like to acknowledge the tireless and devoted efforts of our Aikens veterans who are moving on to new chapters in their professional lives next summer. Thanks to all of you (Elise, Aisha, Sarah, Tyler, Mitch, and Bruno) for giving the lodge your very best day in, day out.
